Book Review: No Strings – Cara Lockwood

I’ve read quite a few of the Mills & Boon Dare series now and found this, as with previous ones, easy to get into and easy to read.
I really liked the premise of this particular story, and it was very relevant with the key hook being centred around an app. Although this app doesn’t hide behind a claim to be a dating app, but is purely for hook ups. Freelance writer and somewhat naïve, Emma, is tempted into trying the app by her best friend, but has no intention of following it through. For her, it’s merely to be a subject to write about, having already made up her mind it’s not for her. However, she has a surprise in store when the mysterious Mr X comes along. Will Emma be tempted after all? And if she is, can she really let go after the stipulated time of 48 hours passes when his details will disappear from her profile forever?
This was a good story that kept your interest, although I did find some descriptions and wording a little repetitive at time. It wasn’t the ‘hottest’ Dare I’ve read, but I’d be happy to read more by this author.
